For this class project, we were tasked with creating a new polymorphic identity for the University of Franche-Comté in celebration of its 600th anniversary. The challenge was to develop a modern and minimalist design that honors the university’s rich history while projecting a contemporary and innovative image. This required a deep understanding of the university’s legacy and values, as well as a keen eye for contemporary design trends.
________
I aimed to create a versatile identity that could be adapted across various media and platforms, ensuring consistency and visual appeal in every application. The design needed to balance the weight of the institution's historical significance with the freshness and clarity of modern aesthetics, resulting in a brand that resonates with both the university community and the public. By integrating elements of the university’s heritage with a sleek, forward-thinking visual language, we sought to celebrate its past while inspiring its future.
